At Glasgow 2026, we are building a passionate, collaborative team to deliver a truly ground breaking event. This role is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of a major international Games, delivering essential services that support athlete participation and competition readiness.
Sport is at the heart of the Games. Ensuring fair, consistent, and high-quality competition across all disciplines is vital to maintaining the integrity and reputation of the Commonwealth Games movement. Technical Officials—comprising both International Technical Officials (ITOs) and National Technical Officials (NTOs)—play a crucial role in upholding the rules of play and ensuring competition integrity.

Job Summary:
The Technical Officials Coordinator will support the Technical Officials Manager in delivering all aspects of planning, coordination, and Games-time services for Technical Officials and Sport Volunteers. Working closely with International Federations (IFs), National Governing Bodies (NGBs), Sport Competition Managers, and internal Games functions, this role ensures that every official and volunteer is prepared, supported, and empowered to deliver fair and world-class sport competition.
Experience:
We are looking for a strong communicator who has excellent written and presentation skills. You need to have the ability to work in a fast paced environment, frequently under pressure and love to multi task.
Relationship building is key and our ideal candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and manage relationships positively.
An understanding of the technical officials’ qualifications pathway, across various sports is desirable. Previous experience as an athlete, coach, technical official, or as a volunteer coordinator would also be desired for this role.
