As a Senior Rehabilitation Support worker, you will be overseeing the day to day running of a unit at Milton Grange which can be a Mental Health/Dementia Rehabilitation & Assessment unit or a Generic Rehab unit which is supported with Physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nurses. You will also line manage a staff team and work closely with the management team.
East Sussex is committed to the growth and development of our staff, and you will have a key role in upskilling and providing opportunities for your team.
A key aspect of the role working in a multi-disciplinary team, supporting clients with medication, supporting clients with personal care, and encouraging our clients to maximise their independence to enable them to return home after a short period of stay.
We Are Looking For Candidates Who
Have effective verbal and written communication skills.
Are Self-motivated, with the ability to motivate and encourage others.
Have some experience in effectively leading a team.
Who act as a role model to staff.
Have the ability to remain calm when demands are conflicting and competing.
Has some experience in providing care and support to others
