As the HSSE Manager, you are responsible for ensuring safe working practices in compliance with both internal policies and external regulatory standards. You will conduct daily safety inspections, identify and mitigate risks, manage incident reporting, and support investigations. Working closely with the stakeholders, you’ll help foster a strong safety culture across all ground operations, ensuring the protection of our employees, customers, and partners. Role Responsibilities: Conduct routine safety inspections of activities and operational areas to assess compliance with health and safety standards. Enter all incidents, near-misses, and accidents into our Safety Reporting Tool and manage follow-up actions to closure. Investigate incidents in collaboration with relevant internal and external parties Generate incident and damage reports tailored to the requirements of stakeholders. Provide health and safety training aligned with current legal regulations Evaluate trainee competence during safety training programs. Ensure ongoing compliance with health and safety legislation. Identify operational risks, investigate root causes, and propose effective preventive or corrective actions. Participate in internal and external audits and lead or support related improvement initiatives. Maintain a strong understanding of all relevant safety, health, and security policies. Participate in safety training sessions organised by the company. Actively promote and support a just and reporting culture. What were looking for? Experience in the aviation sector (e.g., ground handling, cargo, airline, or airport operations). Solid understanding of aviation ground operations and applicable safety regulations (national and international). Working knowledge of occupational health, safety legislation, and safety management systems (SMS). Strong computer literacy and analytical skills. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organisational skills. Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in dynamic environments. Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Capable of representing PrimeFlight and its airline customers professionally and credibly. Committed to fostering a positive reporting culture and continuous safety improvement across all levels.
