Rotatech is a growing UK-based brand specialising in chainsaw accessories, chipper blades, stump grinding teeth and forestry tools, sold via our own website, eBay, Amazon UK & Europe. We pride ourselves on quality, innovation and fast turnaround, serving both retail and trade customers across the UK and Europe.
We're looking for a commercially savvy, hands-on E-Commerce Manager to take control of our multi-channel online sales platforms and lead a small team of two internal staff plus freelancers. You'll be responsible for growing our sales and improving our visibility across marketplaces, while ensuring a smooth day-to-day operation.
Role Summary
The E-Commerce Manager will manage all aspects of our digital marketplaces, working closely with the Directors to deliver online sales targets and operational efficiencies. You'll lead the team and will be expected to be involved in the day-to-day running of the platforms as well as shaping and executing our overall e-commerce strategy.
This is a hands-on role that requires practical knowledge of Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, eBay Seller Hub. You must have a deep working knowledge of Shopify, Amazon and Ebay.
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace & Webstore Management
* Create and implement a growth strategy for all platforms including new product launches
* Manage day-to-day trading of our Shopify Website, eBay, Amazon UK & EU stores.
* Oversee listings, SEO, keyword optimisation, and product categorisation
* Handle pricing strategies, shipping templates and promotions
Sales Growth & Strategy
* Analyse and report on marketplace performance (traffic, conversion, ROI)
* Identify sales trends, gaps in product range and develop strategies to increase online revenue
* Research competitors and price positioning to maintain a competitive edge
* Plan and implement seasonal campaigns and product launches across channels
Team Leadership
* Lead, support and develop a small team of two (Internal digital marketing person/marketplace admin) plus freelancers
* Allocate daily/weekly tasks to ensure priorities are clear and aligned with business goals
* Encourage a collaborative team culture and support staff development
Operational Oversight
* Liaise with warehouse manger to ensure smooth fulfilment
* Ensure stock accuracy and resolve issues with backorders or returns
* Work with directors to manage customer service escalations
* Ensure the team keep product listings up to date with accurate specifications, shipping details and images
Collaboration & Reporting
* Work with in-house marketing and graphic design (e.g. for promotions, A+ content and listing images)
* Report directly to the Directors with updates on sales performance, targets, and key initiatives
Key Requirements
* Proven experience managing e-commerce platforms: Amazon (Seller Central), eBay, and Shopify
* Strong understanding of marketplace algorithms, keywords, SEO, and product ranking
* Analytical mindset — confident with numbers, performance tracking, KPIs
* Excellent written English and attention to detail
* Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets
* Experience managing small teams or coordinating others
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Confident, proactive, and a genuine team player
Nice to Have
* Amazon EU experience, including translations and tax/shipping setup
* Knowledge of FBA (Fulfilment by Amazon) or Pan-EU settings
* Ability to shoot or edit product images or videos
* Experience with Google Analytics or similar tools
