A dedicated and passionate English Teacher is required to work at a popular secondary school in Crewe, to join them on a full-time basis, teaching key stage 3 & 4 from September 2024, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the full academic year.
This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers.
You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, attending departmental meetings when required, and being available for parents’ evenings. You will plan and deliver engaging, high-standard lessons that challenge pupils in their learning. The school teaches GCSE and emphasizes building knowledge throughout KS3 and KS4. You will also mark work and provide feedback in tandem with AfL.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:
* Degree educated with a good classification
* Secondary QTS (PGCE, SCITT, QTS, etc.)
* Previous experience working with young people (references available)
* Experience teaching in a Secondary School (references available)
* Up-to-date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (training can be provided)
* Up-to-date Prevent awareness training issued in the last 3 years (training can be provided)
* Up-to-date behaviour management & FGM training (training can be provided)
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
* Hold Right to Work in the UK
* Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application at a cost of £
* Provide at least two professional references
