Overview
We are currently seeking to recruit Bank Facilities Porter to join our team in Lawson Memorial Hospital. This post will be based in Lawson Memorial Hospital; however the successful applicant’s role shall be to provide Porters services to NHS sites.
The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high standards of service and cleanliness are maintained in line with local infection control policies, Covid 19 guidance and maintaining compliance with the NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specification, and Waste Regulations. To meet specified cleaning schedules, and promote and maintain high standards of cleanliness within the environment. To meet specified Laundry Services to the standard of NHS Scotland National Cleaning Services Specifications.
This is a bank staff post to be available to work, Monday to Sunday on a rotational rota hours may vary due to service requirements. We offer a full comprehensive induction and training package.
Rates of pay from £12.78 an hour with an attractive weekend working rate.

Responsibilities
* Provide porter services across NHS sites as required.
* Maintain high standards of service and cleanliness in line with local infection control policies and NHS Scotland specifications.
* Support cleaning, waste management and laundry activities as part of the facilities service.
* Adhere to infection control and Covid 19 guidance and related regulations.
* Work to meet specified cleaning schedules and maintain a clean environment.
* Participate in an induction and training program as part of employment.
Qualifications / Requirements
* Bank staff post; availability to work Monday to Sunday on a rotational rota; hours may vary due to service requirements.
* All staff will receive a full comprehensive induction and training package.
