Their Warrington team is growing, and they're looking for a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team. About the Role: As a Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the commercial aspects of projects. Working alongside their operations team, you’ll ensure the performance, compliance, and cost-effectiveness of our contracts. This is an excellent opportunity for both experienced and developing Quantity Surveyors who are ready to take the next step in their careers. Your Responsibilities: * Undertake Month-End P&L Reviews and analyse job performance against margin expectations * Mentor and support Assistant/Trainee Quantity Surveyors in their professional development * Oversee contract performance management, ensuring budget control and compliance * Manage the subcontractor lifecycle from onboarding, tender processes, rate negotiations, to payments * Lead the variations and change control process, including documentation, pricing, and cost management * Negotiate variations with customers and support credit control ensuring payments are made * Provide commercial insights, risk analysis, and advice on costs and contracts * Support design and estimating teams in obtaining pricing from suppliers/subcontractors Experience/Skills Required: * High proficiency in Microsoft Office packages is essential * Experience with software packages such as Coins, Mentor, SimPRO, MS Dynamics is an advantage * Familiarity with administering Construction Contracts (NEC, JCT, FIDIC, iChemE, or bespoke contracts) * Experience in Utilities or Framework/Term Maintenance roles is desirable but not essential Benefits: * Salary:£50k -£65K * Car Allowance: £6k * 25 days holiday, increasing by 1 day after 2 years (up to 30 days) 9 public holidays * Holiday buy scheme * Discretionary bonus * EV and ULEV salary sacrifice scheme (subject to minimum service) * Cycle to work salary sacrifice scheme * Up to 7% employer pension contribution * Life assurance (x4 annual basic salary) * Refer a friend incentive * Wagestream (access to earned wages before payday) * Employee Assistance Programme * Hybrid working for eligible roles (3 days in the office, 2 from home) * Private medical insurance (Some benefits available after probation.)
