An opportunity has arisen to join our Property Services Team as a Repairs Contract Liaison Manager.

This role will support the Service Manager – Repairs to deliver a range of services working within the relevant legislative and organisational policies to deliver excellent operational performance across the repairs service, driving high customer satisfaction levels monitored by contractual KPI’s and build strong professional relationships between the repairs service provider and the councils Property Services team.
Key Responsibilities
* Proven experience managing large reactive repairs contracts.
* Strong data and reporting skills, including translating user requirements into report specifications.
* Confident using systems such as Civica, NEC, or similar council property platforms.
* Ability to build effective working relationships and support dispute resolution.
* Experience contributing to organisational change projects.
* Solid understanding of Property Services operations within a local authority, housing provider, or private sector setting.
* Strong knowledge of performance management processes and service delivery standards.
* Thorough understanding of compliance requirements, including Health & Safety, CDM, Asbestos, Water Hygiene, and Electrical Safety.
Essential
* Experience in managing large reactive repairs contracts
* Experience of using report writing software to extract data from databases
* Experience of managing and improving relationships and positively contributing to dispute resolution
* Experience of one of the following systems (or equivalent): Civica, NEC and other council utilised systems
* Experience of working on projects with significant organisational development including change management, working culture, technical changes and changes to delivery mechanisms
* Thorough understanding of the operations of a Property Services department, in a local authority environment, registered provider or private sector environment
* Experience of analysing contractual performance information to support and inform the delivery of the service
* Thorough and demonstrable understanding of performance management systems and processes
* Detailed understanding of compliance with policies and procedures and delivery standards for managing the delivery of the councils investment strategy, including full compliance with Health and Safety requirements including the CDM Regulations and Control of Asbestos Regulations, Water Hygiene and Electrical Safety
* To graduate or chartered professional of equivalent experience gained in an equivalent post within a similar organisational structure
* Evidence of continued professional development
