Financial Controller required in Farnborough
Location: Farnborough (2 days onsite)
Rate: £40 per hour (Self-employed)
Start Date: ASAP
Overview
We are supporting an established aerospace business based in Farnborough who require an experienced and commercially minded Financial Controller to support them onsite 2 days per week. You will oversee the finance function, manage the cashflow and provide clear financial visibility to the SLT.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparation and ownership of monthly management accounts
* Lead on budgeting and forecasting processes
* Oversee and manage cashflow forecasting and reporting
* Provide financial insights to support business decision-making
* Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data and reporting
* Work closely with senior stakeholders to improve financial performance
* Support ad hoc financial projects as required
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance professional
* Strong background in management accounting, budgeting, and cashflow management
* Experience working in SMEs or growing businesses
* Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
