Financial Controller

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Financial Controller to step into a pivotal role within a fast-moving, internationally focused environment. What you’ll be doing
* Leading the production and delivery of monthly management accounts
* Managing key relationships with senior stakeholders and high-net-worth individuals
* Overseeing balance sheet reporting, reconciliations and analysis
* Day-to-day management of the finance function, working closely with the Head of Finance
* Authorising payments and ensuring strong financial controls
* Preparing and presenting funding requests
* Leading budgeting and forecasting cycles
* Ensuring regulatory and banking compliance
* Driving system and process improvements
* Reviewing accruals, prepayments and month-end adjustments
* Mentoring and developing the finance team
* Producing ad hoc reporting as needed
What you’ll bring
* Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA) from a large to medium-sized accountancy firm
* Experience with Sage X3 or equivalent systems
* Advanced Excel skills
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
* Strong communication skills and a proactive approach
* Ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
* Confidence working cross-functionally with senior stakeholders
