The role :
This is an administrative role supporting procurement and pharmacy operations. The post holder will use Microsoft Office, SAGE, and email systems to manage orders, records, and communication.
The role requires strong IT skills, organisation, and teamwork. Full training will be provided for role-specific tasks.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
1. Tenders and quotes: Responsible for the timely research, sourcing and pricing of quotes and tenders for internal and external customers. This includes identifying new manufacturers and/or sources of supply to ensure that our pricing is competitive to win the quote/tender within the target margins. Negotiation with manufacturers to secure best prices. Liaison and where necessary negotiation with customers to secure business.
2. Stock sourcing and purchase: Receipt and timely processing of customer orders. Sourcing of stock for orders and the negotiation of pricing with suppliers. Accurate raising of purchase orders (PO) against suppliers for the relevant products. Coordination (with warehouse) of the...
