Truss Design Technician – Warrington HYBRID

Role Overview
As a Truss Design Technician, you will play a vital role in turning design concepts into practical technical drawings and ensuring projects meet all specifications and standards. You will support the wider design team, work closely with customers, and provide manufacturing information to ensure smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities
* Interpret architects' and engineers' drawings to develop accurate and cost-effective designs
* Prepare quotations and provide proactive technical support to customers
* Build and maintain strong working relationships with both new and existing clients
* Handle customer enquiries within agreed service levels, resolving queries and complaints effectively
* Provide accurate information to production teams to enable efficient manufacturing
* Contribute to continuous improvement across design and operational processes
Skills & Experience
* Proven experience as a Truss Designer in an engineered timber environment
* Strong background using Mitek MBA suite and truss design software (e.g., Mitek Pamir)
* Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively
* Systematic and methodical approach with attention to detail
* Results-driven, with project management and organisational skills
* Able to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365

Work Hours
This is a full-time, permanent role (39 hours per week) with weekends free. Standard hours are Monday to Thursday, 8:00am–4:30pm, and Friday, 8:00am–3:30pm. Part-time options, such as job share or shorter working days, may also be considered.
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Additional Pay: Bonus scheme
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
