This is a strategic appointment offering the opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future direction of the firm’s real estate offering. The successful candidate will advise a high quality client base on complex and high value transactions, while contributing to business development, client relationship management, and team leadership.
The Role:
* Lead and advise on complex, high value real estate transactions across commercial property, development and investments.
* Provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice to a diverse client base including developers, investors, lenders, and corporate occupiers
* Manage and grow key client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor at senior stakeholder level
* Play an active role in business development, including work winning, client pitches, and profile raising
* Supervise, mentor, and develop junior and senior members of the real estate team
* Contribute to the strategic growth and direction of the real estate practice and the wider firm
The Person:
* Qualified Solicitor with 8+ years PQE in real estate
* Demonstrable experience leading complex commercial property transactions
* Established client following or strong evidence of business development capability
* Commercially astute with a pragmatic, solutions driven approach
* Strong leadership, mentoring, and people management skills
* Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
