Role Overview
We are seeking consultant anaesthetists to join the team at Gilbert Bain Hospital, Lerwick. The department provides comprehensive general anaesthetic and critical care services. Due to the remote setting, anaesthetists will also be involved in trauma resuscitation, neonatal and paediatric resuscitation, and adapting core skills to challenging clinical scenarios outside traditional theatre environments.
Working Arrangements
Full-time posts are available, with flexible working arrangements, including annualised hours and alternative contracts. Pro-rata annual leave applies, with an additional two weeks of study leave.
