Maths Teacher

Reed Education is dedicated to providing Whole School Recruitment to Secondary Schools across Cumbria and Lancashire. We are currently seeking a dynamic Maths Teacher to join a school in Blackpool on a long-term basis, starting immediately. This role is ideal for someone with a strong knowledge of the Physics curriculum, effective communication skills, and a commitment to creating an engaging learning environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging and informative Physics lessons to students at KS3 and KS4 levels; teaching KS5 is also advantageous.
* Maintain strong classroom management skills.
* Assess and monitor student progress and provide feedback to promote student improvement.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff to enhance the teaching practices and academic success of the students.
* Contribute to the development of teaching materials and curriculum planning.
* Uphold the school's values and policies regarding safeguarding and student welfare.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Must hold QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent.
* Recent and relevant experience teaching Maths KS3 and KS4 levels; experience at KS5 is beneficial.
* Demonstrated ability to be an excellent classroom practitioner with robust subject knowledge.
* Reliable, committed, and capable of working effectively with students.
* Exhibits good role model qualities such as compassion, trustworthiness, politeness, and effective listening skills.
* Strong interpersonal skills, punctuality, patience, and confidence when working with children.
