The Role
As the Assistant Facilities Manager, you'll take responsibility for a small portfolio of four sites, ensuring they are safe, well‑maintained, and delivering a great experience for occupiers. You'll work closely with - and report directly into - an experienced Facilities Manager who is committed to mentoring and supporting you as you progress.
Key Responsibilities
* Day‑to‑day management of soft and hard FM services across the sites
* Building strong relationships with occupiers and suppliers
* Supporting with compliance, H&S, and ensuring statutory requirements are met
* Assisting with service charge budgets and procurement
* Helping drive service excellence across the portfolio
What We're Looking For
* Experience in Facilities Management (assistant‑level or similar)
* Strong organisational skills and a proactive attitude
* Good communication and stakeholder management skills
* Willingness to learn and develop under a supportive FM
* A team player who enjoys variety across multiple buildings
