We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a genuine love for working with children. As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young learners.
Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
* Plan and implement engaging activities that promote learning through play, fostering the development of key skills such as communication, social interaction, and creativity.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development, communicating effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's achievements.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive team environment that encourages professional growth and development.
* Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and nursery policies, including health and safety standards.
Qualifications
* Relevant and Full Level 2 or 3 qualifications in Early Childhood Education or Childcare are essential.
* Previous experience working with children in a nursery or similar setting is highly desirable.
* Strong management and leadership skills to effectively guide a team of practitioners.
* Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, to engage with children, parents, and colleagues effectively.
* A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate travel between locations if necessary.
