Job Title: Youth Practitioner (Residential Support Worker)
Location: Birkenhead, CH42
Salary: 26,728 - 28,100.80 per annum (DOE)
Job Type: Permanent, Full Time (40 hours per week)
Shifts: 8am-10pm - sleep ins are a part of this role

Key Responsibilities:
* Support and meet the needs of young people in accordance with their individual care plans.
* Personal Care may be required in this role
* Collaborate with young people, families, social workers, and external agencies to provide holistic support.
* Safeguard the welfare and safety of the young people, ensuring work aligns with legislative and procedural requirements.
* Participate in planning and reviewing care, health, and education plans for young people.
* Foster a positive, inclusive environment that promotes personal development and social care best practices.
What We're Looking For:
* Understanding of developmental needs of young people (physical, emotional, intellectual, social, and educational).
* Knowledge of Child Protection procedures and Social Care Services.
* Team player with the ability to demonstrate sensitivity, flexibility, and strong interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage emotional stress and motivate both yourself and others.
* A strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people.
