Role: Repair Technician
Location: Wellingborough
Hours: Monday to Friday
Salary: £35,000 - £39,000 per annum
OA are currently looking to recruit for an experienced Repair Technician to join a well-established client based in Wellingborough.

Duties of a Repair Technician:
7. Test, diagnose and repair electronic products to component level
8. Use automated and manual test equipment to identify faults
9. Carry out fault-finding with and without schematics or circuit diagrams
10. Complete repairs to the required quality and performance standards
11. Accurately document repairs and diagnostics within internal systems
12. Disassemble, reassemble and prepare returned units for testing and repair
13. Configure hardware for manual testing where required
14. Support continuous improvement and reduction in turnaround times
15. Highlight technical, quality or process issues to Engineering and Management teams
16. Carry out maintenance and calibration checks on test systems
17. Provide technical support and cross-training to colleagues when required
What we would like from you:
18. Previous experience within an electronics repair or test environment
19. Qualification in Electronics Engineering (ONC/HNC/HND or equivalent)
20. Strong electronics knowledge and fault-finding ability
21. Experience diagnosing faults down to component level
22. Ability to use oscilloscopes, spectrum analysers and multi-meters
23. Good understanding of electronic testing procedures
24. Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
25. Experience using hand and power tools
26. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
27. Able to work independently and within a fast-paced environment
