Production Planner Location: Telford Salary: £35K to £40k per annum (depending on experience) Hours: Monday Friday office based Benefits: Holiday 25 days Stats Our client is an established and growing manufacturing business in Telford, now creating this brand-new Production Planner position to support increasing demand. Youll be joining a team of four and working closely with the Production Manager, taking ownership of planning and scheduling activities for the site. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and wants to play a key role in improving workflow, supporting operational performance, and helping a growing organisation continue to deliver high-quality products on time The Production Planner will be responsible for: Create and maintain daily, weekly, and longer-term production schedules Work closely with production, procurement, and engineering teams to ensure materials and information are available when required Monitor capacity, workflow, and resource allocation to support operational targets Adjust schedules proactively to manage supply chain challenges, changing priorities, or delays Track production performance and highlight risks to deadlines or output Contribute to continuous improvement by supporting enhancements to planning and manufacturing processes Skills & Experience Experience in production planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of supply chain and production workflows Highly organised, with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail Confident communicator who can work effectively across multiple teams Comfortable managing shifting priorities in a busy, fast-moving environment The application process: Our mission is to support our clients in their creation of an equal, diverse and inclusive workforce.
