ROLE: Technical Team Leader
HOURS: 4on4off Nights - 18:00 - 06:00
SALARY: £18.18 p/hr plus £1p/hr shift allowance

We are delighted to be recruiting for a Technical Team Leader, based at our Birchwood site in Somercotes, Derbyshire.
As a Technical Team Leader, you are responsible for supervising our Extrusion Technicians and managing processes to ensure a safe, compliant, and efficient operation that meets targets, budgets, and plans.
You will lead and motivate a team of PVCu Technicians by embodying our Company Values and serving as a role model for Safety First and quality standards.
WHAT OUR TECHNICAL TEAM LEADERS DO:
Lead and motivate the team through role modelling the Company Values of Gritty, Proud, Decent and Agile
Develop Technicians and Operators, ensuring your team is fully trained and confident in fulfilling their role
Ensure conformance to plan (CTP) and plan achievement (PA) targets are achieved
Adhere to manufacturing budgets and all operational policies, processes, and SOP's
Waste is minimised and segregated following company environmental protocols
Ensuring weekly payroll and clocking in procedures are completed in line with payroll deadlines
Build strong working relationships with key stakeholders
Adherence to risk assessments, SOP's and safe systems of work within the team
Investigate all reported SHE incidents and implement relevant containment, corrective and preventative action plans
Follow reporting and escalation of incidents in line with SHE requirements
WHAT WE NEED FROM OUR TECHNICAL TEAM LEADERS:
Experience of managing large teams within a Production, Manufacturing, or Extrusion facility
Experience of developing and coaching successful teams
Knowledge of delivering Process Improvements
Recent experience of a fast-paced environment, working under pressure
A customer orientated attitude in line with company policies
Excellent communication at all levels
