As a Vice President - Commodity and Structured Trade Finance (Natural Resources and Agriculture), you will be responsible for delivering customised debt solutions to clients involved within the global physical commodities (Natural Resources and Agriculture) industries, structuring complex transactions and managing deals and relationships from start (origination) to finish (execution). The role requires some international travel. This is a full time permanent position.Key responsibilitiesDevelop tailored commodity finance debt solutions (Commodity Trade Finance or Structured Trade Finance plus associated cross products) for clients within the Natural Resources and Agriculture commodity industriesPrepare marketing decks, client pitches, business presentations and term sheetsResponsible for origination of new clientsConduct necessary due diligence, research and analysis to support the on-boarding of clients/businessPrepare detailed business/credit proposals, periodic reviews and ad-hoc updates as and when requiredSupport the negotiation and execution of legal documentationOversee all aspects of client, deal, transaction administration to ensure high client satisfactionManage the assigned portfolio of clientsCollaborate and maintain relationship with internal stakeholders (e.g. Credit, Compliance, Legal, Operations departments)Collaborate and maintain external relationships (e.g. with commodity brokers, insurance firms, legal firms, logistic firms)Attend events organised by the Bank and on behalf of the companyIdentify cross sell opportunities across the BankProvide training and support to junior members of team and/or wider stakeholdersRequirementsDegree educated in Finance, Accounting or other relevant subjectDemonstrated experience in the commodity sector (banking, brokerage, insurance, trading companies and/or equivalent)Demonstrated commodity debt product and/or commodity company credit skills or similarKnowledge of commodity futures, exchanges and tradingKnowledge of STF productsFinancial modelling knowledgeTeam playerSound MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) skillsSound business acumen, with good analytical thinking and problem solving skills
