Location
Park Lodge is a traditional detached house in a quiet residential area. It has a large lawned garden and there are fields nearby. Rail and road connections are very good. Park Lodge is very close to Crawley town centre and very easy access to bus stops. The dedicated staff at Park Lodge maintain a warm and homely atmosphere.
About the Role
We are looking to hire committed and compassionate staff to join our friendly, professional team, whether you have experience or not. Staff, with NVQ 2 and experience welcomed, however, if you are looking to make a positive impact on the people’s lives that live with us but have no experience within the care industry, we still want to hear from you to give you the opportunity to join us as full training is provided. We will offer NVQ upon passing of probation.
Responsibilities and Duties
Our staff support adults with mental ill‑health conditions and learning disabilities in a care home environment. Duties include: supporting with daily living skill development, personal care, community‑based activities, and working with some behaviors which may present as challenging.
Our service users require care 24/7 so weekend work is required; a shared responsibility is provided to give you some free weekend time. Shift patterns are 12 hours on a 36 hour per week contract with occasional nights shift to cover for annual leave. We can offer part‑time contracts with the opportunity of an enhanced rate over time although this is not mandatory.
