MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT, PERM, INDUSTRY, OPEN TO QBE AND NEWLY QUALS
Your new companyHays Accountancy & Finance are delighted to be partnering with a valued client to recruit a commercially focused Management Accountant. This is a key role within the business, taking ownership of the main Irish entity and offering strong visibility to senior leadership within a growing, dynamic group.
Your new roleAs Management Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering accurate financial reporting, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across the finance function.Key responsibilities will include:
* Preparation of monthly management accounts with detailed variance analysis
* Ownership of month-end processes, including balance sheet reconciliations
* Lead budgeting and forecasting for the Irish entity
* Provide insightful financial analysis to support commercial decisions
* Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to enhance reporting and visibility
* Ensure strong financial controls and compliance with group standards
* Support year-end audit and statutory reporting requirements
* Partner with operational teams to drive cost control and profitability
What you'll need to succeed
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or Qualified by Experience
* Proven experience in a management accounting role
* Strong systems knowledge, ideally including Sage and/or Navision (Business Central)
* Experience using Power BI for reporting and data analysis
* Excellent Excel and analytical skills
* Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
* A proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
