About the Role As part of the Maths team, you will: Teach motivating, well‑planned Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4 Deliver a curriculum that builds confidence, problem‑solving skills, and a genuine interest in mathematics Use assessment to identify strengths and areas for support, adapting your teaching accordingly Foster a classroom atmosphere where all learners feel valued and able to succeed Work collaboratively with colleagues to improve and develop the curriculum Play an active role in wider school life, including enrichment and extracurricular activities What the School Offers A friendly, student‑centred community that prioritises wellbeing and achievement A supportive Maths team led by experienced and approachable leaders High‑quality training and professional development opportunities Clear progression routes for teachers at any stage of their career Modern facilities and well‑equipped Maths classrooms A culture that encourages innovation, high standards, and collaboration Who They’re Looking For The ideal applicant will be: A qualified Maths Teacher with QTS (or an ECT close to gaining it) Confident teaching Mathematics across KS3 and KS4 Someone with strong subject knowledge and excellent communication skills A teacher who sets high expectations and plans engaging, purposeful lessons Reflective, open to feedback, and committed to team working Able to build positive, supportive relationships with students of all abilities Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) Strong subject knowledge in Mathematics Ability to teach KS3 & KS4 confidently A firm commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
