Vantage is seeking a highly motivated, self-starting Technology Procurement Analyst to be an integral part of a global team responsible for managing IT materials, licenses, maintenance, software, hardware, and associated supply chains. This role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the organization’s global technology needs are met efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with business objectives.
In this role, you will project-manage every aspect of the procurement and delivery process from initiation through completion, supporting technology initiatives across Vantage’s global footprint. Daily responsibilities include developing and managing RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs; negotiating commercial terms and contracts with regional vendors; managing inventory levels across the region; tracking deliveries; building and maintaining complex, multi-region project budgets; and creating, reviewing, and managing purchase orders for software, hardware and professional services.
As a Technology Procurement Analyst, you will manage multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating closely with international suppliers and cross-functional internal teams including IT, Automation, Construction Cost & Finance, Accounting, Construction, Operations, and Legal. This role requires strong coordination across time zones and cultures. Occasional international travel to Vantage data center sites and regional offices may be required.
Responsibilities
1. Partner closely with the Technology Procurement Manager to support daily activities and help ensure the technology procurement function meets or exceeds organizational goals
2. Understand and support RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs for sourcing IT software, hardware, and services across multiple regions
3. Coordinate with global and regional vendors to drive continuous quality improvement and performance
4. Track renewal dates for enterprise software and support licenses globally, initiating discussions with stakeholders to review budgets and regional requirements
5. Assist in the analysis of vendor quotes, change orders, and technical/commercial submittals
6. Learn and manage financial and procurement systems to enter POs, review invoices, track regional budgets, and allocate equipment to projects
7. Support the Technology Procurement Manager and Finance/Accounting teams in resolving invoice and payment issues
8. Drive project-level tasks and milestones assigned by the Technology Procurement Manager across the region.
9. Build, maintain, and strengthen supplier relationships at a regional level
10. Develop and maintain high-level reporting and recordkeeping to support technology procurement visibility and decision-making
11. Continuously refine procurement processes to ensure efficiency, scalability, and compliance with policies
12. Work with Compliance and Legal teams to ensure suppliers and procurement activities meet corporate and regional regulatory requirements
13. Communicate effectively with stakeholders across regions regarding hardware and software needs
14. Provide post-order support, including order status updates, issue resolution, and facilitation of returns
15. Maintain and update inventory systems for internal hardware, including periodic audits
16. Place re-stock orders with suppliers and negotiate pricing aligned with procurement strategies
17. Assist with allocating hardware to regional projects
18. Communicate proactively with internal teams regarding stock shortages, delays, or supply chain disruptions
19. Coordinate occasional scheduling, preparation, and courier delivery of hardware across regions
Duties
20. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure clarity of specifications and operational requirements
21. Conduct market research to evaluate best-value pricing for hardware, software and professional services.
22. Partner with Finance to ensure all purchases are accurately costed and aligned to approved budgets
23. Coordinate approvals and release of equipment required for deployment
24. Negotiate best-landed pricing with primary and secondary vendors, considering logistics, duties, and regional considerations
25. Assist with inventory planning, forecasting, and demand management
Job Requirements
26. Bachelor of Science in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Engineering, IT, Law or a related field, or equivalent experience
27. 2+ years of experience in procurement or purchasing with a focus on technology, software, hardware, and services. Candidates with fewer years of experience but strong, demonstrable skills are strongly encouraged to apply
28. Experience supporting global or multi-region procurement activities
29. Data center or industrial equipment experience is strongly preferred, but not required
30. Experience negotiating and managing vendor and supplier contracts
31. Proficiency with procurement platforms, financial tools, and ERP systems
32. Ability to learn quickly, manage complexity, and independently drive tasks to completion
33. Strong business acumen and commercial negotiation skills
34. Knowledge of sourcing and procurement techniques
35. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across cultures and time zones

Additional Details
36. Salary Range: $95,000 - $110,000 Base + Bonus (this range is based on Colorado market data and may vary in other locations)
37.
