We're looking for an experienced Yard Shunter to join a well-established logistics operation in Desborough. This is a consistent Monday–Friday role with long-term stability, and the site is actively looking to take suitable drivers on permanently.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely shunting trailers around the yard using Terberg shunters
* Positioning trailers onto bays and parking areas as directed
* Working closely with transport and warehouse teams to maintain smooth yard flow
* Completing simple walk-around checks and reporting any issues
* Maintaining high safety standards at all times
Requirements
* Proven Yard Shunting experience
* Experience using Terberg / yard tractors
* A valid C+E (Class 1) licence
* Good communication and awareness within a busy yard environment
* Reliability and a strong work ethic
