Job Description

The Role
As a Senior Test Engineer, you’ll join one of our client’s small, agile teams. You’ll be working on exciting national‑security projects, helping ensure automated testing is built in from the start as part of a smooth CI/CD lifecycle.
Responsibilities
* Using a variety of technologies, focusing on open‑source tools and frameworks.
* Manual & automation software testing.
* Working with DevOps and agile methodologies: TDD, BDD, ATDD and continuous testing through CI/CD pipelines, with manual/exploratory testing when needed.
* Designing and implementing automated test frameworks across UI & API.
* Using technologies such as Selenium, Cypress.io, Webdriver.io, Playwright, Cucumber, Robot Framework, Serenity BDD, and Rest Assured.
* Sharing new ideas with the QA team and helping improve our test frameworks and processes.
* Conducting non‑functional testing covering Security, Performance, Accessibility, and Operational Acceptance Testing (OAT).

Requirements
We’re looking for Senior Test Engineers who are passionate about Manual & Automation testing and have experience with complex solutions. You’ll be comfortable working as part of an Agile team, taking ownership of your work, and helping to foster best practices in an Agile environment.
Because of the nature of the work, you’ll need to be DV‑cleared to work on this role.

Salary
Annual Salary: £40,000‑£70,000 GBP.
