CIP / Yogurt Processing Operator
Graham's the Family Dairy is a Scottish food and drink brand, producing award-winning dairy products. Our range includes milk, butter, cream, ice cream, yogurt, skyr and more. An opportunity has arisen for a Yogurt Processor to join our team at our site in Nairn. This is a permanent position working 4 days per week, 12 hour shifts.
The purpose of the role is to control the intake and processing of milk and cream for Production.
Key Responsibilities
* Receipt of raw milk
* Pasteurising cream, all cream products. Carry out sampling as and when required.
* Carry out cleaning of all plant and associated equipment and environment before during and after production.
* Complete all operational logs and data sheets are filled in daily.
* Complying with all site quality, safety and hygiene instructions and procedures
* Basic mechanical skills
* Adhere to Good Manufacturing Practices at all times
* Wear uniform and PPE
* Comply with Health and Safety requirements and adhere to HR policies and procedures
* Assist Production Manager as and when required and carry out any other reasonable duties to ensure the effective and smooth running of the dairy.
* Making sure tanks are CIP'd and ready to receive finished milk.
* Completing CIP's as necessary on lines and tanks
Basic computer skills, numerical skills the ability to understand written instructions and ownership of responsibilities are required for this role.
Previous dairy and processing experience would be advantageous; however full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
