Role Overview
We are looking for a Customer Service / Student Success Specialist to join our team. This role is all about ensuring every parent and student receives excellent support — from their first lesson through to exam success.
This is not a sales role. Instead, you will focus on handling enquiries, guiding students through our courses and resources, and making sure they have the best possible experience with Mobile Tutors.
You will work on a hybrid basis — 4 days in our Harlow office and 1 day from home — choosing one of the two shift options above.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as the first point of contact for parents and students via phone, email, WhatsApp, and live chat.
* Provide guidance on our courses and resources, using your knowledge of GCSE Maths, English, and Science to support student learning.
* Handle onboarding, including login details, timetables, and platform navigation.
* Monitor student progress and follow up with parents to ensure continued satisfaction.
* Liaise with tutors and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and professionally.
* Maintain accurate records of communications and student data.
* Identify and escalate any concerns while always aiming to improve the student experience.
* Carry out general administrative tasks to support the wider team.
What We're Looking For
* Knowledge of the UK education system, particularly GCSE Maths, English, and Science.
* Previous experience in customer service, student support, or education.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail.
* Tech-savvy and confident using digital platforms.
* Professional, empathetic, and able to build trust with families.
* Able to commute to our Harlow office 4 days per week (plus 1 day WFH).
