What you’ll be doing Acting as the primary point of contact for all food safety and health & safety queries from sites Managing incoming safety reports, prioritising actions, escalating critical issues, and ensuring timely closure Maintaining accurate safety documentation and records Building strong, positive relationships across multiple levels of the business Supporting sites via Teams calls, providing practical guidance and problem-solving support Supporting the design, rollout, and monitoring of food safety and health & safety systems Analysing safety data to identify trends and recommend improvements Creating and delivering clear, engaging presentations for internal stakeholders Supporting and delivering training initiatives, coaching teams to improve safety performance Contributing to continuous improvement of safety processes and reporting systems Working pattern: Monday to Friday | 9am-5pm | Office hybrid working with some travel to sites. What can you bring? 5 years’ experience in multi-site food safety and/or health & safety management, ideally within catering or food service environments Strong working knowledge of food safety standards and health & safety legislation Experience managing incidents, investigations, audits, and inspections Confidence managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels Experience designing, delivering, and managing training programmes Proven ability to self-manage with a strong compliance-focused mindset Experience managing or leading a team Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams A full UK driving licence (for occasional site visits) Essential qualifications IOSH or NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) Level 4 Food Safety Level 4 HACCP Desirable ISO auditing and/or environmental management experience Allergen management qualifications Train-the-Trainer accreditation
