Recruitment and HR Admin

Location: Newcastle City Centre

Salary: Competitive (Depending on experience)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent, Hybrid Working (3 days in the office, 2 WFH)

Hours: 40 hours per week (Flexible start/finish times)

The Role

As HR Administrator - Recruitment & HR Officer, you will play a key role in supporting both recruitment and wider HR administration across the organisation.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

Liaising regularly with care home management teams to identify and understand current vacancies
Proactively managing all company vacancies (posting, updating and removing roles on internal systems and job boards)
Screening CVs to assess candidate suitability
Supporting shortlisting processes with home administrators and managers
Reviewing interview feedback and communicating outcomes to candidates
Supporting candidates throughout the recruitment journey
Managing recruitment inquiries via telephone and inbox
Advising and guiding hiring managers on recruitment processes and best practice
Updating Head Office recruitment boards with live vacancies
Working closely with the Recruitment Compliance Officer following appointments
Acting as note taker in investigation and disciplinary hearings
Providing general HR administrative support as required

The Candidate

We Are Looking For Someone Who Is

Experienced within an HR or recruitment role (essential)
Knowledgeable in Right to Work documentation, including overseas applications and sponsorship (essential)
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
Confident working in a fast-paced environment with a varied workload
An excellent communicator, both written and verbal
A proactive and supportive team player
Professional, discreet and able to manage confidential information
