Working alongside experienced Ford technicians, the apprentice will gain hands-on experience, technical expertise, and a strong understanding of Ford vehicles, systems, and customer service standards.\nThis opportunity is ideal for individuals with a passion for mechanics, problem-solving, and developing a long-term career in the motor industry.\n Assist senior technicians in routine servicing, inspections, and maintenance tasks\nSupport fault-finding using diagnostic tools and equipment\nLearn to repair mechanical and electrical vehicle systems\nFollow health & safety procedures and work safely in the workshop\nRecord work completed, parts used, and service activity accurately\nAttend all required IMI training and assessments\nWork as part of a team to ensure high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction\n Aged 16\nGCSE / National 5 (or equivalent) AâC / 9â4 in Maths and English (Predicted grades are accepted, provided the final results meet the required standards.)\nStrong interest in vehicle servicing and repair (petrol, diesel, hybrid, and electric)\nGood problem-solving skills and attention to detail\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nWillingness to travel and stay away from home for training\nBasic IT skills\nWorking towards or holding a valid driving licence\n
