Overview
An exciting opportunity for a friendly, positive-thinking, organised and motivated individual to provide administrative support within the Trusts Hotel Services Catering, Contracts & Performance Team. The role is a job share with part of the role being 22.5 hours per week. You should be highly motivated, reliable, flexible, able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. You will be passionate about patient care, putting patients at the heart of everything you do, and able to think on the spot. You will be engaged in creating a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
The Catering, Contracts and Performance Team is responsible for the Trust’s Catering Services, manages contracts within Facilities, and provides performance data reports for the department as a whole. The post holder will be based at Acklam Road Hospital in Middlesbrough and this is a job share position working Monday to Wednesday 9am-5pm.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to the Head of Catering, Contracts & Performance and the team.
* Support the planning and production of trust-wide menus; assist in writing contract tenders; manage calendars and emails.
* Organise and minuting a variety of meetings, including production and distribution of KPI reports.
* Maintain action logs and in-house financial records; handle incoming phone calls; provide general administrative support.
* Demonstrate excellent communication and customer care skills and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Applicants should hold NVQ Level 3 in Business & Administration.
* Sound IT knowledge and experience, with competency in Microsoft Office packages.
* Good communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.
* The role is demanding and requires the ability to work under pressure when required.
