Job Summary:
A well-established optical practice in Greenock is looking for an ambitious Optometrist to join its friendly and experienced team. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, patient-centred eye care to a diverse local community
Conduct comprehensive eye examinations using innovative and up-to-date clinical equipment
Apply sound clinical judgement to diagnose, manage, and refer patients appropriately
Build strong, trusting relationships with patients to ensure an outstanding experience
Maintain accurate and compliant patient records in line with professional standards
Work collaboratively with opticians, technicians, and the wider store team to achieve clinical excellence
Team Development:
Work alongside a knowledgeable and supportive team of Optometrists, Opticians, and Technicians
Benefit from structured training and ongoing clinical and professional development
Share knowledge and best practice to support continuous improvement across the team
Contribute positively to a welcoming and inclusive team culture
About You:
GOC-registered Optometrist (or soon to be registered)
Passionate about eyecare and delivering excellent patient outcomes
Confident, motivated, and keen to progress professionally
Strong communication skills with a patient-first approach
Able to bring enthusiasm and commitment to your role every day

What They Offer:
Salary up to £50,000, depending on experience
Minimum 4 days per week, working 8:55am – 4:55pm
