Business Readiness Specialist

Summary of the role

An FCA-regulated life & pensions service provider is seeking a dedicated professional to join as a Business Readiness Specialist. The role involves managing the engagement and preparation of operations (Voice, Back Office, and Complaints) to accept changes while maintaining service levels. The specialist will ensure accuracy of facts and details to meet project deliverables aligned with stakeholder needs, legislation, and standards, thereby enabling positive outcomes for customers.

What you'll be doing

1. Developing project aims and scope, working as a subject matter expert alongside Business Analysts and Project Managers.
2. Liaising with Coaches and QA teams to ensure projects meet operational requirements.
3. Designing communication and training materials from an agent perspective to support change adoption.
4. Managing delivery documentation such as Action Logs, Timelines, and Risk Management plans.
5. Representing the voice of the customer and colleagues to ensure changes are implemented for the right reasons.
6. Designing and managing testing of new systems, processes, and applications to verify their suitability.
7. Approving remediation work and correspondence to customers/schemes.
8. Assisting in the development of Q&A documents to support event mailings.
9. Ensuring delivered changes promote good customer outcomes and do not cause harm.

What we're looking for

1. Understanding of our operations and systems is advantageous.
2. Some experience in Project Management or Delivery.
3. Knowledge of Life, Pensions & Investment (LPI) products and FCA regulations.
4. Change management experience is preferred.
5. Ability to communicate effectively and engage with new people about their work.
6. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, and Word.
7. Good organizational skills, prioritizing workload and adapting to changes.
