Community Safety Assistant Location: Yeovil
Contract: Temporary (12 weeks) | Full Time (37 hours)
Pay: up to £14.89 per hour DOE
We are recruiting for a Community Safety Assistant to join a friendly team on a 12-week temporary contract. This is a varied and rewarding role focused on keeping neighbourhoods safe and supporting vulnerable residents.
The Role
* Manage a diverse caseload of community safety and safeguarding issues
* Tackle anti-social behaviour using appropriate tools and legal powers
* Support victims of domestic abuse
* Progress legal cases through the court process
* Attend multi-agency meetings and work closely with partner organisations
* Carry out home and neighbourhood visits (mileage paid)
About You
* Experience dealing with anti-social behaviour and safeguarding cases
* Knowledge of enforcement tools and relevant legislation
* Confident managing complex cases and sensitive situations
* Strong communication and partnership-working skills
* A proactive team player with a customer-focused approach
