Maintenance Operative, Full Time
Viking Landscaping Ltd are looking for an experienced, dedicated, hard working maintenance operative to carry out a variety of maintenance duties, mainly in the construction industry, working on new housing developments.
Job responsibilities:
* Maintenance to Show Homes, Sales Arena's and new build properties.
* Grass cutting, weeding and spraying to properties and Public Open Spaces.
* Drive work vehicles to/from job sites and supplier locations.
* Load and unload landscaping tools and materials into/from work trucks.
* Interact professionally with clients.
Qualifications and skills:
* 18 years or older
* 1–2 years of experience as a landscaping, maintenance operative, or groundskeeping worker is ideal but not essential.
* Can operate commercial equipment (lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, rotavators).
* Valid CSCS card.
* Valid driver's license.
* Strong work ethic and positive attitude.
* Willing to learn and to follow instructions.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Can work independently and as part of a team environment.
Working hours:
* Full-time, year-round
* Mon–Fri, 7:30am–4:30pm
