Role Responsibilities
* Deliver bespoke tax advice across areas such as inheritance tax, trusts, capital gains tax, and residency matters
* Manage a diverse portfolio of private clients, building long-term relationships and acting as a trusted adviser
* Stay ahead of changes in tax legislation and provide forward-thinking solutions to help clients prepare for the future
* Collaborate closely with internal teams, including accounts and audit, to deliver integrated, strategic advice
* Support and mentor junior colleagues, promoting technical development and a culture of continuous learning
* Provide clear, commercially sound recommendations in client meetings and written reports
* Contribute to the firm’s growth by identifying opportunities for further advisory support

Candidate Requirements
* A minimum of 5 years’ experience in private client tax advisory within an accountancy practice
* STEP or CTA qualified
* Strong technical expertise in IHT, CGT, trust taxation, and residency issues
* Confident communicator who can engage clients with empathy, clarity, and authority
* Self-motivated and driven, with a proactive approach to client service
* Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail
* A team player who collaborates well across departments to provide holistic client solutions
