As a mid level data analyst, you will have previous commercial experience in a similar role - this role would suit a second or third jobber. This is not a Data Engineering role. Our mission: Two in five people in the UK rent their homes. Goodlord's mission? To provide them with the best renting experience in the world. We started Goodlord because we wanted to make renting simple and transparent for everyone involved: the agent, the landlord, and the tenant. We knew Generation Rent would lead to more tenants, with higher digital expectations and we were confident we can provide a solution. Like all scale-ups it's been a bit of a rollercoaster journey, but we're now stronger than ever, with around 3,000 letting agents using the platform, exciting and varied products and 350+ Goodlordians across the group supporting the mission.
The Opportunity:
Responsibilities
* Design dashboards, analyse and interpret data to support business needs.
* Maintain large datasets in support of business needs.
* Implement changes and contribute to change management processes.
* Take ownership of analytical challenges, ensuring solutions align with business objectives and deliver value.
* Develop our analytics platform to promote self‑service within the organisation.
* Engage with various business areas, impacting and collaborating with different teams across the organisation.
Qualifications
* Strong proficiency in SQL and Python.
* A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent working experience.
* Proven experience working with major database providers (AWS, GCP, Microsoft Azure).
* Demonstrated success in creating analytics and dashboards in a SQL‑based tool.
* Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with various business units.
