An established education agency is currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Secondary Tutors to support Looked After Children (LAC) across the Salford area.
This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people who require additional academic support and consistency outside of mainstream classroom settings.
The Role:
* Deliver 1:1 tuition to secondary-aged students (KS3-KS4)
* Support core subjects (English, Maths, Science - additional subjects welcomed)
* Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated sessions
* Build positive, trusting relationships with vulnerable learners
* Provide progress updates and feedback to the agency and relevant professionals
We Are Looking For:
* Qualified teachers, experienced tutors, or strong subject specialists
* Experience working with secondary-aged students
* Previous experience with SEND, SEMH, or Looked After Children is highly desirable
* Patient, empathetic and resilient individuals
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Ability to work independently and manage own schedule
