Manufacturing Operative
Location: Frome
Johnson Controls Frome is a high-pressure diecasting foundry, manufacturing sprinkler frames for the global market. We are looking for a Manufacturing Operative to join our team on a continental shift pattern. This is a hands-on role within a busy manufacturing environment, where safety, quality, and teamwork are key to our success.
You will work a 12-hour continental shift pattern (4 on / 4 off, including night rotation).
What You Will Do
* Work as part of a shift team to manufacture components in line with the production plan
* Operate machinery and equipment safely and effectively
* Carry out checks to ensure product quality meets required standards
* Support smooth production flow by highlighting issues and helping reduce downtime
* Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace organisation
* Follow all site and group Environment, Health & Safety policies and procedures
How You Will Do It
1. Work safely at all times, following training and site procedures
2. Communicate clearly with team members and supervisors on shift
3. Take responsibility for your own tasks while supporting the wider team
