Position Overview
The successful Senior Business Development Executive will create new partner opportunities in Communications/Media, BFSI, and to convert those opportunities into revenue-generating, profitable partnerships with the world’s leading disruptors.
They will identify potential partners, initiate contact, and build strong relationships.
The successful applicant will have a deep understanding of the industry, staying updated on market trends, and leveraging insights to create compelling value propositions.
Additionally, they will engage in strategic negotiations, develop tailored partnership proposals, and ensure seamless integration and collaboration to maximize mutual benefits and drive sustained growth.
Primary Responsibilities
* “Leading the Charge” Developing opportunities from zero to close, through the cycle from initial discovery to solution scoping and development, proposal development, negotiation and contracting.
* Creatively sourcing access to key target clients through networking, referrals, events, marketing collaborations, outbound prospecting, ecosystem and creative ideas
* Using Insight based selling techniques by Identifying challenges within prospective target partner customer operations and business models to gain access to key stakeholders for deeper discussions on how TELUS Digital can solve the problems
* Our clients range from start-ups to scale-ups and larger mature innovators and you will seamlessly adapt to the distinct needs and solutions required and the variation of buying processes at each stage of maturity.
* You will be selling multi-year BPO contracts for CX, Technical Support, Sales Funnel Operations, Community, Trust, Safety, AI and Risk and also augmented operations
* Crafting deliverable solutions to solve the specific challenges being faced by prospective clients.
* These identified opportunities should be tracked through the pipeline and in Salesforce. We need to be seeing progress for these opportunities through the funnel and we need to see the actions to gather the key information. The reporting of the deals is your responsibility.
Requirements:
* 7+ years of Sales experience in BPO /Call center/Outsourcing services
* Proven track record of closing $5 Million+ Revenue growth per year in a call center/BPO environment.
* Bachelor's degree in Business or related field is required
* Proven & demonstrable experience in developing, leading and influencing C-Level discussions with target clients.
* Resourceful ability to access target client organisations internationally to build relationships.
* Strong experience and competency in “Closing” Deals
* Ability to map stakeholders and to network within a target client organisation
* Natural interest in capturing intelligence and sharing with internal teams to enhance the overall development of the TELUS Digital
