Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing contractor specialising in high-end construction and interior fit-out projects across commercial, healthcare, education, and maintenance sectors. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects across the North-West, they are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team.
The Role
As a Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for managing all cost aspects of our clients projects from initial estimates through to final accounts. You will work closely with project managers, site teams, and clients to ensure financial efficiency, value engineering, and commercial integrity across the life cycle of each project.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare cost plans, budgets, and tender documents
* Manage subcontractor procurement and valuation
* Monitor project progress and prepare interim valuations and final accounts
* Conduct cost analysis and risk assessments
* Provide commercial advice to project teams
* Ensure compliance with contract terms and company procedures
Requirements:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying or related field
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in the construction or fit-out sector
* Strong knowledge of JCT contracts and UK construction law
* Excellent numerical, communication, and negotiation skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Full UK driving licence
* Happy to be office based
