T&D Test Technician
, you will play a vital role in ensuring our race car components meet the highest standards of legality, reliability, and performance.
Working with autonomy and supported by senior and lead engineers you will own key test and turnaround activities, collaborate across Production, Sub-Assembly and Car Build, and directly contribute to car performance on track.

Key Responsibilities
* Perform proof testing, legality checks and development work on car components to defined standards.
* Build, execute and oversee T&D tests, including sensor setup, instrumentation, data logging and post-processing.
* Accurately document and integrate test data and critical information into company systems and reporting formats.
* Safely operate all relevant test benches, rigs, equipment and associated test software.
* Support test requests and priorities set by the T&D Test Manager, maintaining clear communication with stakeholders.
* Contribute to strong housekeeping, organisation and continuous improvement within the T&D workshop.
* Manage your own workload effectively, meeting deadlines and supporting wider departmental activities.
* Proactively participate in meetings and uphold professional conduct in line with team expectations.
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
* Strong practical understanding of mechanical and test assembly techniques.
* Solid knowledge of race car components, their purpose and key performance/reliability considerations.
* Developing expertise in structural proof testing, durability, fatigue testing and system sign-off processes.
* High level of IT literacy, including PLM systems, Microsoft Office, ATLAS, System Monitor and data-logging tools.
* Analytical thinker with a structured, methodical approach to test execution and problem-solving.
* Educated to Level 3 or equivalent in a relevant engineering or technical discipline.
* Self-motivated, calm under pressure and confident making well-reasoned decisions.
* Enthusiastic, collaborative and committed to strong working relationships and Health & Safety standards.
