Role Overview
The Maritime Assistant team provides support functions to the Maritime and wider Carnival UK teams. Responsibilities include facilitating contractor and visitor access onboard ships during port calls.
Reporting to the Manager, Maritime Services, the Maritime Assistant ensures accurate and efficient processing of visit and visitor information, including legal and security checks.
This role is highly administrative. Candidates must have exceptional attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
Key responsibilities include:
* Organising contractor visits using business tools
* Coordinating with the maritime team to facilitate ship visits
* Providing administrative support, including travel arrangements
* Participating in ARC meetings to coordinate visits and resolve conflicts
This is a full-time, permanent role classified as CUK15, offering hybrid work up to two days from home.
