We employ over 280 people with offices in the East and West of Scotland.\n\nWe are currently recruiting a Modern Apprentice in Business Administration to join our team. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to begin their career in a professional office environment while working towards a recognised Business Administration qualification.\n\n Duties will include, but are not limited to:\n\nâ¢\tReception duties\nâ¢\tSwitchboard cover and backup\nâ¢\tProcessing incoming mail (scanning and distribution)\nâ¢\tManaging outgoing mail\nâ¢\tFiling and general document control\nâ¢\tScanning for all departments\nâ¢\tMaintaining drawing registers for contracts and logging drawings on Document management system\nâ¢\tAdministration of contract email inboxes\nâ¢\tGeneral typing and spreadsheet logging\nâ¢\tCompiling building manuals, including liaising with subcontractors to obtain required information\nâ¢\tCoordinating site signage and laminating\nâ¢\tManaging stationery supplies\nâ¢\tProviding administrative support across all departments\nâ¢\tPreparing meeting rooms, including refreshments for internal and external meetings, and setting up for breakfast/lunch meetings\n The successful candidate will demonstrate:\n\nâ¢\tA willingness to learn and develop new skills\nâ¢\tGood working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages (Word, Excel, Outlook)\nâ¢\tStrong communication skills, both written and verbal\nâ¢\tGood organisational skills and attention to detail\nâ¢\tA positive attitude and proactive approach to work\nâ¢\tThe ability to manage time effectively and prioritise tasks\nâ¢\tA flexible approach and willingness to support different departments as required\nâ¢\tA commitment to completing a Business Administration qualification\n\nThis is a full-time, permanent position based at our Paisley Head Office.\n
