Overview
As an Area Sales Manager at Algeco UK, you will be responsible for overseeing sales efforts within a designated area of postcodes. You will drive revenue growth, build strong client relationships, and ensure customer satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic individual with a proven track record in sales, exceptional communication skills, and a deep understanding of the modular space industry.
Responsibilities
* Hunt and develop leads from market information, centrally provided data, and prospecting within the area via telephone and site visits.
* Grow relationships and revenue of identified accounts to ensure repeat business.
* Own and convert leads and opportunities provided by inbound and outbound Internal Sales Executives.
* Identify opportunities for new products and services that strengthen our offering and deliver a good return on investment.
* Deliver quality sales proposals in response to tenders and customer enquiries.
* Ensure clear boundaries and hand-offs between sales functions are followed on a day-to-day basis.
* Prepare tailored presentations to key clients and deliver them in a competent and professional manner when required.
* Create and maintain relevant Account Plans for each owned account.
* Conduct quarterly reviews with all owned accounts (adjusting frequency based on customer needs), focusing on the previous quarter, forecast for the upcoming period, SOW, and ongoing strategy updates.
* Carry out regular field visits to customers sites.
* Collaborate with the Regional Director to support development and implementation of customer-specific sales strategies.
* Identify and develop proposals for existing and emerging markets, product development and customer solutions.
* Understand the competitor landscape.
