The Opportunity:
This role will enable the successful candidate to actively shape the technical roadmap, build high-performing teams, and influence business outcomes at a strategic level. You'll join a mission-driven company that champions small, empowered teams and thrives on delivering real value to its customers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and grow a team of engineers across full-stack product areas
* Champion best practices in Agile, DevOps, and software craftsmanship
* Drive team performance through mentoring, continuous feedback, and a strong engineering culture
* Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to align delivery with business goals
* Evolve engineering practices and architecture with a focus on scalability, simplicity, and quality
* Foster a transparent, trusting culture that promotes innovation and learning
What You'll Bring:
* 5+ years in software engineering leadership, plus experience at Director level or above
* Experience leading cross-functional teams of 10+ engineers
* Strong background in Java, C#, or C++
* Passion for Lean/Kanban methodologies and agile transformation
* Experience in mentoring new managers and scaling engineering functions
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
