Postgraduate Medical Education Administrator

The LED Administrator works closely with the Postgraduate Medical Education (PGME) team within the Student, Trainee and Placement Support Department. They are responsible for organising and delivering teaching programmes and training events for locally employed doctors and international medical graduates, and ensuring all training requirements are met in collaboration with the Associate Director of Medical Education.
Key duties include:
* Supporting arrangements for induction events – setting up online sessions, booking tutors, equipment, and rooms.
* Providing administrative assistance to the PGME team and other departments within the Workforce and Education Directorate.
* Resolving problems proactively and maintaining a consistently highly professional approach.
Qualifications & Education
* Good level of education, NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
* Excellent IT skills including Word, Excel and Microsoft 365.
Knowledge & Experience
* Experience working in a busy office environment.
* Experience of setting up online meetings using platforms such as Microsoft Teams and Zoom.
Skills & Abilities
* Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Excellent planning, organisational and time‑management skills.
* Ability to deal effectively and appropriately with people at all levels from a broad range of organisations.
* Demonstrated understanding of confidentiality requirements relating to student and education issues.
* Proficiency in all Microsoft Office packages.

Salary: £25,760 to £27,476 a year, pro rata.
